My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Sadly Cancer has touched my life as it has lots of people in one way or another. One of my best friends died very young. It’s twelve years ago now but she had a young family she had to say goodbye to far too soon. Just heartbreaking and very sad. I still miss her so much. There’s others I know and have known sadly they’ve not all made it but some have. Just recently my uncle had good news after months and months of treatment. Such a relief after such a difficult worrying time. Best news and I’m sure the best Christmas present he’s ever had! 😊 Sorry I can’t tell everybody’s story in this short space but I’m thinking about you all..... It would be lovely to think that one day it’s cured for everyone and no one ever has to go through what I witnessed with my friend. That whole journey from finding out to going through necessary but harsh treatment. That in itself is awful, the side effects. Not being able to work has a massive financial impact too! And then to go through all that for months and it not work. Knowing then you have to say goodbye to your children and family and friends it’s devastating for everybody.
