Carol's Race for Life
Bedford Pretty Muddy 5k 2018

I am living proof that cancer research works.
In December 2016 I was diagnosed with Cancer of the oesophagus. I was told because of the positioning of the tumor it was inoperable. In Jan 2017 I started 33 sessions of INTENSIVE radiotherapy and 6 weekly chemotherapy sessions. After PET scans and another endoscopy, in June 2017 I was told all signs of the tumor had been eradicated. I am still undergoing regular testing and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Because of my illness my friend Michelle came up with idea to do a pretty muddy race for life in my name. Michelle roped My dear friend Hayley into the plan. In turn they enlisted other friends to take part in the event too. My oldest and dearest friends Janet and Alison felt they couldn't take part in the event so gave their time in my name to volunteer at the event as marshals. After some discussion a team name was decided and "CAZZA'S CANCER CRUSDAERS" was born. my AMAZING friends raised over £3000 for cancer research. so this year i am fortunate (or crazy enough) to join them. this year we are under the name "Sole sisters" I am asking from the bottom of my heart to please donate to this wonderful charity. Any amount you can spare will be appreciated. Together we can all make a difference. Love Cazza xxxx
