I am painfully aware that Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. My first brush with Cancer was in 1969 when my much loved Grandpa succumbed; then in 1986 when my sister-in-law died age 27 after a 5 year battle; then in 2013 my 35 year old daughter Jenna died leaving 4 children aged 16, 12, 9, and 2. Then again when my Mum died in 2015. I have lost numerous friends and other less immediate relatives. Cancer leaves an indelible mark on all it touches. So I am doing my bit to help and would love you to help me raise funds for this worthy cause.
