I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner.
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. I myself was diagnosed 3 years ago and still receive excellent support to deal with the ongoing problems which continue, even when in remission. I’m one of the lucky ones and fortunately can still go on the holidays I love, attend the odd rock festival, even if putting up the tent is not quite as easy as it used to be and of course, still be around to watch my amazing grandson grow up. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
