Walking to raise funds and awareness! Attend your screening appointments!!

My Story

As many of you know, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2021 after a routine mammogram. I consider myself very lucky that it was picked up early and dealt with very quickly - despite the pandemic. Please make sure you attend all regular screening appointments - it could save your life! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s ground breaking work. Donate to my Giving Page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

CAUSE

Breast cancer

With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
