This year will be the second year I will be taking part in the Ladies Pink Tractor Road Run in of Cancer Research UK. I will again be driving my Dad's beloved Grey Fergie which at over 70 years old is one of the oldest in the The Run. This year my Dad is battling his own canceer diagnosis so it will make driving his tractor even more special and I'd love to reach my fundraising goal. This will be the 16th year of the event and so far, they have raised over £640,000 for the charity and are aiming for the million.
CAUSE
Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
