My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. Caner has affected our family & I'm sure most families I know. We can all do our bit to try & find a cure or to provide essential help & support for families through these difficult times. Donations of any kind help to support our community in lots of different ways & have played a huge roll in bringing people together to support one another. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so please any donations are greatly appreciated.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
