My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. I have been recently diagnosed with this cruel disease and there are no tests for ovarian cancer the silent killer. It has been a gruelling last 7 months after major surgery there followed 6 lots of chemotherapy which have left me with many side effects (still one to go as I’m typing). Any money donated would be gratefully accepted and help this worthy cause of which knew nothing until I actually was diagnosed. We need to raise awareness so that more woman are diagnosed at treatment stage instead of when it is too late. I will be doing this with a group of work colleagues and will post pictures of the day.
