My Story
New Year greetings to you all. I hope 2026 brings health, happiness, and kindness your way. Sadly, cancer has once again touched our family. We lost my sister to this terrible disease and it's making another visit. It’s a stark reminder of how deeply cancer affects so many, and it has strengthened my determination to do something positive in response. Throughout January, I’ll be upping my walking miles, which since knee surgery hasn't been easy, with the goal of exceeding my target and raising much-needed funds for cancer research. Every step is for those currently fighting, and those who will face this difficult battle in the future. No matter how small a donation, your support will make a real difference to Cancer Research UK and will help give someone hope. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
