My Story

As most of your will know, Maxine and I have walked several long distance walking challenges together. We are about to take on our toughest challenge so far - to walk 2 marathons over 2 days across the Sahara desert. We have fully funded this ourselves, but would like to raise money for Cancer Research. 100% of any money donated will therefore go straight to the charity and not be used towards the cost of our entries. Both of us sadly lost our Dad's to cancer, and therefore it seemed fitting to fundraise for Cancer Research. We know that cancer has devastated the lives of many of our friends and family too. You are all in our thoughts and we hope your support will get us through this challenge. Thank you for visiting our Fundraising Page. The money we raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.

CAUSE

All Cancer Types

Our work has helped double cancer survival in the UK in the last 50 years. Despite this incredible progress, there’s more to be done. Nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. Help us carry out world-class research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer.
