My Story
In December 2014 my aunt Liz was diagnosed with lung and bone cancer having never smoked and led a full and active lifestyle. Her doctors estimated 6 months but through her strength, determination, sense of humour and her cancer drugs she is still fighting almost 2 and a half years later. Her mobility has been severely impacted so I thought the least I can do is run in honour of her tenacity and courage and for everyone who is fighting cancer with her too. Unfortunately cancer touches so many lives and requires ongoing research as well as the great work of medical staff and carers. #keepfighting xx Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
