Maya and I are running Race for Life with 'Team Suzie'.
In memory of
Padi and Richard
Maya and I are running Race for Life with 'Team Suzie'. Suzie (and her mum Pauline) are hockey team mates of mine. At just 24 years old, Suzie was diagnosed earlier this year with a rare and aggressive small cell ovarian cancer. She has already had surgery and is currently going through chemotherapy. A group of players from Wycombe Hockey Club are showing their support by running Race for Life, and Maya wants to run too! We will also be running:- to show our support for two other friends - Gillie who is currently battling breast cancer, and Tina who is battling bowel cancer. - and in memory of Padi and Richard. A number of you kindly and generously sponsored me to do Race 4 Life (Pretty Muddy) two years ago in memory of my nephew Padi and friend Richard. Thank you! Maya would really appreciate it if you could sponsor her just a few pounds, and help raise money for Cancer Research UK. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
