Hi guys, When I signed up to Race for Life at first I just wanted to run 5k. But when I saw what date it would be on, I decided to run 10k, which I've never done before. That date is the anniversary when one of my best friend lost her battle against cancer when we were teenagers. This date has since been in my head and I just cannot forget it. Since, a few of my friends and family members have been affected by cancer. Some have won the battle, when others are fighting it. I've been working and training for this race so please support me .
