Although up until June 2020, I have only run on average 5km a month, I'm taking part in the MBVUK 100 Challenge and setting myself the target of running 100km in July! This is a huge physical and mental challenge for me, but it's nothing compared to battles people have everyday fighting cancer. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
