On the 3rd of October I’ll be stepping into the boxing ring and taking part in Ultra White Collar Boxing to raise money for Stand Up to Cancer. I will be doing 8 weeks of training in preparation for the big fight and having never boxed in my life I know this is going to be a tough challenge to take on. Having recently lost a grandparent to cancer I am well aware of the devastating effects this disease can have. Cancer affects 1 in 2 people in the UK and despite improvements in diagnosis and treatment in the last few decades we still have a long way to go to beat cancer.
