My Story
Hello, So myself, family & friends have decided to complete the 5k race for life this year. Unfortunately this has become personal as my Granddaughter was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkin’s lymphoma at the end of January, for those of you that don’t know as I didn’t it’s cancer of the blood. I’m extremely lucky in the fact she has a 90% survival rate, some people are not as lucky as her. I feel very strongly that events like these massively help in the research for cancer as if this was 50 years ago her outlook wouldn’t be so good! As they say any little helps so anything you are able and willing to part with would be appreciated very much!
