My Story
All too often we hear of family and friends or friends of friends etc affected by Cancer. Whether it’s people fighting the battle or families and friends trying to help a loved one, everyone is affected. During the pandemic I understand that receiving treatment and being able to be around loved ones who are suffering has been extremely challenging. To help raise funds for Cancer Research I’ve signed up to do a 100k challenge. The actual challenge is to walk/run 100km by the end of May but I want to complete 100km running in the month of March. I will also be doing a lot of my runs with my 6 year old son George so this is a joint team effort. If you are able to donate, we would be really grateful. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
