Cara's Race for Life

Cancer plays such a big part in this world and I'm sure many people know someone who has Cancer or had Cancer. I too have known people that have survived Cancer but until recently I hadn't been around to see anyone go through the process of diagnosis, treatment, surgery and everything else that goes with it. The most amazing woman that I know is in the process of beating the big C and has made me see the world differently, made me want to be the best version of me that I can be and it has made me want to help others who will have to go through the same process. I am very lucky to be doing the race for life with a fabulous bunch of ladies, the Sole Survivors, a team full of strong and determined women (and the most gorgeous little lady) who have at some point in their lives had a loved one affected by Cancer. Cancer doesn't just affect one person, but it affects all their friends and family too and it amazes me just how strong people can be and how important it is that we make a difference to help cancer research. Several women from our team are very inspirational to me and I am proud to be doing it with them. We will race together, walk together and raise money together to help all our loved ones and many others out there beat Cancer 💪Please help us by donating on my page or the Sole Survivors page ☺
