My Story
Last year was a very tragic year, not only did my father loose his uncle, but my grandma lost her 5 month battle with cancer. I remember spending all my summer holidays in Birmingham to cherish every moment with family and her, but then the chilling phone call came in to say cancer had finally got the better of her. She lost the ability to speak and eat, I don’t want anyone to experience what me and my family experienced so please donate to this tremendous cause. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
