My Story
In the early hours of Saturday 18th March my grandad lost the battle to Pacreatic Cancer at the age of 68, having only being diagnosed since February this year he fought his battle with all of us behind him till the end. Currently going through my GCSEs, the recent pass of my grandad due to cancer has caused me lack of concentration and left me in stress making it a very difficult time to focus as all I can think about is him and wishing we can find a cure to cancer. On 30th June I will be taking part in a 5K Pretty Muddy Run in honour of my grandad but also to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer and that no cancer should be underestimated. I am also aiming to raise £80 with your help for Cancer Research so they have a better opportunity to finding a cure for cancer. Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

CAUSE
Pancreatic cancer
Each year, around 10,800 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the UK. That’s 30 people every single day. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat pancreatic cancer.
