I’m running the marathon to beat Cancer
In memory of
Jan Gardiner and Bobby Hopkins
Bobby Hopkins Grandad and Jan Gardiner Nana had a very special place in our hearts and were both taken from us far too young after losing their battles with cancer. Ever since Nana Gardiner passed away I always wanted to run a marathon, I'm hoping her aspiring and strong willed attitude will rub off on me for the challenge. In company with this when Grandad Bob who was an iconic man sadly lost his long battle with cancer it further spurred me on to get a marathon locked in and that's why I'm doing Paris in April 2019. I'm hoping I can do them both proud! As training begins and the beers stop for me - A challenge in itself... I'll need as much help from you guys as possible to reach my target so if you could pop into your purse and donate a few quid that would be much appreciated! Much Love..
