My Story
I have completed the Great North Run today in a time of 1.52.16. But it doesnt stop there. I am attempting to run 29 more half marathons consecutively until Monday 9th October. I am doing this in aid of Cancer Research. We will all know someone who has been affected by Cancer and seen the devastation it can cause. Although the Great North Run is a challenge in its own right, I have decided to push myself and do 30 half marathons in 30 days. Its going to be painful and i might fail, but it will be nothing compared to the pain that people face when diagnosed with this awful illness. Even the smallest of donations will be appreciated. Im also going to do a sweep stake for people to guess either my total time of all 30 runs should I complete this challenge or should I fail the total time of how many you think I will do. It will be £2 a go, the closest guess will win half with the other half going to Cancer Research. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
