My Story
Written by Toby’s mummy: On 15th May 2015, our lives were turned upside down. Toby who was 2 years old wasn’t quite right. But no one prepared us for the words, I’m sorry Toby has blood cancer, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Three years later and Toby continues to fight his biggest battle. He has been a true star through all of his treatments which has included blood transfusions, bone marrow aspirations, steriods, spinal chemo, IV chemo and daily oral chemo. Plus NG feeding tubes, scans, injections, leg cramps, 3 central lines inserted in his chest and his hair falling out. Despite all this Toby still smiles after all the pain and hurt. We wish for kinder treatments and for a cure one day so children like Toby don’t have to miss their childhood fighting this awful and cruel disease. Alfie and Callum are true superstars and really want to help make a difference.
