My Story
Those of you that know me, know that I'm terrible at anything fitness related, but I wanted to take on this challenge to help raise money and save lives with Cancer Research UK! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime and my life hasn't been untouched by it, both my beautiful Mum and Nana were diagnosed with different types of cancers and fought hard to get to complete remission where they've both been for many years now. I want to race so these statistics are in decline and we find a way towards beating cancer.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
