I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money for treatments and to kick cancers ass!
My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. My dad currently has stage 4 oesophageal cancer and has spent the last year and a half being unable to eat. Recently he has had two stents fitted so he can eat soft foods and he is so happy. Although my dads cancer is terminal I would love to raise money to help other people get treatment and help. The NHS have been brilliant with my dad and my family and have supported us through the good and the bad times. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
