My Story

We are running 5k in July in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK. My mum has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and an incurable form of leukaemia called CLL, which is the reason I have decided to take part in this year's Race for Life. It would mean a lot to me to be able to raise as much money as possible for such an important charity. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
