My Story
Hi everyone, my name is Caitlin and I am doing the pretty muddy Race for Life on July 6th 2025. Cancer Research is something that is very close to my heart, as Cancer has affected me and my family deeply, as unfortunately I have lost three grandparents to cancer, my uncle, and I currently have an uncle who is living with cancer. It’s an awful thing for anyone to have to go through, or to know someone going through it. Which is why I am taking part in this event, to raise money to help find a cure to beat cancer! 💞

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
