My Story
In September, members of the Buxton Building Contractors team will be taking part in Cancer Research UK’s Shine Night Walk London, raising money for life-saving cancer research. Taking place overnight, the challenge will see our team walk the full marathon distance of 26.2 miles through the streets of London. Starting in Battersea Park, the route passes many of the capital’s iconic landmarks as thousands of participants come together to support the fight against cancer. Every donation will help Cancer Research UK continue its vital work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer, helping to improve outcomes for people affected by the disease. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
