My Story
I have decided to do race for life again this year in aid of all of our loved ones we have lost to cancer as unfortunately it is a disease that is so close to home for each and everyone of us. However, I am doing it especially for my nana who I sadly lost last year, just before doing my first ever race for life to cancer & my Granda who I lost as a young child. I felt like my world had come to an end and I could not understand how the world could be so cruel. These were the 2 most important people in my life & have been since as far back as I could ever remember. I am so blessed to have had so many amazing memories with them over the years and hope that they are with me everyday. They gave me their encouragement and knowledge everyday that lead me to where I am today. Both of them meant the world to me and I would love to help raise awareness as much as funds for cancer research in order to help beat cancer. It is the most heart renching feeling when a loved one is told they have the “C” word, and unfortunately it happens A lot more often than we would like. So please please support me in my 10k Race For Life this year. As little as £1 can go such a long way ❤️
