My Story
Cancer plays a BIG part in my families life having Three Aunties who are fighting cancer and one auntie who fought cancer. This is why I have chose to take part in the race for life 5k to raise money and save more life’s. One day I hope with all the money raised they will find a cure or hopefully a step forward to finding a cure. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
