My Story

I am walking this 10k it was to have been as training for my Macmillan hike and to raise vital money for Cancer Research but the hike has now been cancelled and being rescheduled to next year. We still need to help find a cure for this awful disease. Can you help to stop this in its tracks in any way you can. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. Friends, close family and even me have been affected by this awful disease and we need to find a cure which I why I do this.. This will be a strictly walking one for me as it is nearly two years since a partial knee replacement and I still have arthritis in both knees despite of this. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now if you can.
