My Story

Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Cycle 300 page. This September, before the end of the month, I will complete 300 miles on my bike for Cancer Research UK. I will be doing this in addition to my normal fitness and sports routine to challenge myself. I am doing this to help with cancer research as far too many of my friends and family have been adversely affected. It’s a HORRID disease and more research and support are necessary. It's nearly the end of September and I have so far managed to cycle 674 km, so more than 300 miltes but less than the 1000 km I had hoped for. Work and care responsibilities partly to blame; my aging body a little, also as it can only take so much before all parts begin to ache...Anyhow, if anyone still feels able to make a small donation to Cancer Research UK, I should be most grateful.
