Me and my sister are running again this year to raise money for Cancer Research. My mum was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer 6 years ago. She has fought a hard battle and it has taken its toll on her. I always knew she was a strong woman but she has amazed me to go against the odds . At the time my Mum was diagnosed there had been significant research into the cancer she had and through invasive treatment she is still here today. To which I am eternally thankful for. I Love my mum so much. Over the last few years I have seen many people lose their battle and I would like to help raise some money to help research into this awful disease so more people have the chance to survive.
