My Story

Me and my sister are running again this year to raise money for Cancer Research. My mum was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer 6 years ago. She has fought a hard battle and it has taken its toll on her. I always knew she was a strong woman but she has amazed me to go against the odds . At the time my Mum was diagnosed there had been significant research into the cancer she had and through invasive treatment she is still here today. To which I am eternally thankful for. I Love my mum so much. Over the last few years I have seen many people lose their battle and I would like to help raise some money to help research into this awful disease so more people have the chance to survive. Love and hope. Bridget Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
