Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money to help fight this terrible disease. Yes, one in two of us will be affected by cancer in our lifetime, horrific statistics which is why I want to help raise money for this worthy charity. We all have family members, work colleagues or friends who has been or who are currently being affected by cancer. Hearing those tragic words "unfortunately you have cancer" changes the lives of the person and all those around them. Thankfully, with the work from cancer research so many people manage to receive appropriate treatments allowing them to fight this awful disease. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. I'm asking you to donate what you can afford for a great cause. Let's hope you or I are not one of those statistics!!!1

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.
