Race for Life at Home

My Story

So as many people know I have breast cancer and had a scare of possible bone cancer and pancreatic cancer. Thank fully these are none cancerous but my breast cancer is very much real and scary. I have gone through so much in such a short matter of time but it’s not over yet. My family and I will be doing the race for life via ferry meadows (socially distanced of course) to raise money for vital treatment/scientific research as cancer affects everyone, whether it be them or someone they know. Let’s show our support and love and donate whatever we can. Much love to you all ❤️ If you’d like to join the Race for Life at Home community, then sign up at raceforlife.org/race-for-life-at-home

CAUSE

Breast cancer

With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
