This year's Blue Square Hike is especially close to my heart <3 with a very dear family member currently facing the challenge of fighting and living with the disease. With so many people diagnosed each and every day this is something that really effects everyone in some way or another; be it now, in the past or in the future. Weather you are the courageous one having to fight the battle or the ones trying their best to support in any way possible, this year's company hike for Cancer Research UK, chosen by it's staff, is about being able to place that focus into a positive place and support the incredible work that is being done everyday to increase the survival rates year on year and to keep more and more of our loved ones with us, and for longer xXx With a decade’s experience supporting and driving some of the world’s biggest brands, Blue Square Marketing, are an industry-leading field and experiential marketing agency that accelerate brand and people performance. This year our staff have chosen to support Cancer Research UK. Thanks to research, cancer survival has doubled in the last 40 years, with 1 in 2 now beating their disease. But there is still so much to do. Today around 910 people will be diagnosed with cancer and half of them sadly will not survive their disease. With our help, Cancer Research UK can pursue their ambition to accelerate progress and see three-quarters of people surviving cancer within the next 20 years.
