My Story
We'd love for you to join us at the supper club itself, being held at Plum and Spilt Milk in Kings Cross, starting at 11am on Saturday 3rd Feb and running to 11am on Sunday 4th Feb. More information and tickets for that can be purchased here: https://billy-and-jacks-24-hour-supper-club.designmynight.com/ For those of you who can't come but would like to donate towards this cause and support us on the day, we have set up this page. Why are we doing this? As you may know, on 22nd June 2017, Billy was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer after visiting the doctor with a persistent cough. Doctors found numerous growths on and around his thyroid gland and he was diagnosed with this rare form of cancer shortly after. Thankfully, after a long operation in July and with ongoing treatment Billy is well on the road to recovery and causing more trouble than ever. To coincide with World Cancer Day 2018 and to raise awareness and money for Cancer Research UK, we will be challenging ourselves to cook for 24hours straight, dishing up spectacular tasty food from 11am Saturday 3rd to 11am on Sunday 4th February to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. We’ll be cooking across nine sittings, each one will last two hours and will include a 3-course meal, plus nibbles and a drink or two. We’ll also be joined by some special guests and friends, full details including the menu will be announced soon - It’s going to be great! Billy and Jack xxx
