My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. My dear Mum was diagnosed with Cancer at the young age of 49 and sadly the illness took her life aged 50. Our lives have never been the same since. She was the most incredible person I knew and would light up a room with her warm persona and smile. I sometimes wonder if we had caught the Cancer earlier, my Mum would be here today and would have seen her two kids get married and see her grandchildren grow up. Therefore if I can help raise some money towards a good cause to prevent other families suffering like we have, I’ll try. So please, if you are able to spare any amount, I’d be so grateful. Thank you!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
