My son Ben
In memory of
Ben Murphy
My son Ben was diagnosed with bone cancer in 2012 aged 22, sadly he lost his fight with this beastly disease in 2015 leaving our family devastated. Ben is my inspiration for taking part, we miss him terribly and every single minute of every day he is never far from our thoughts. I'm not a natural runner quite the opposite in fact, so Ben would probably think I'm crazy but I also think he would say "go on Mum you can do it!" Please sponsor me to help Cancer Research win this fight! Thank you! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
