My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. As my friends and family know I was diagnosed with Primary Breast Cancer in October 2018. Since then I have gone through surgery, Chemotherapy and radiotherapy. I continue to have treatment that will help prevent the cancer coming back in the future. All of this is only made possible from the continued research that is undertaken. I have met so many cancer survivors on this journey some who wouldn't be here now enjoying their lives if it wasn't for Cancer Research UK.
