My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This February I’m ditching the sweet stuff and giving up sugar for a whole month to raise money for Cancer Research UK and helping to beat cancer sooner. I wanted to do something to help raise money to help beat cancer; but I've never known what... I'm not a big drinker - so something like "dry january" or "sober for ocotber" would be far too easy... Running is out - it gives me headaches and wrecks my rubbish knees.... I'm too heavy for a skydive or bunjee jump... My Achilles heel is definitely my sweet tooth! Chocolate or sweeties win everytime. If I'm hungry - I reach for the sweets; sad - out comes the chocolate; each of my 10-12 coffees a day - must have 2 sugars in.... Then I came across an advert for "SUGAR FREE FEBRUARY", and I realised that this is a fundraiser that will be worth people's donations - because it will definitely be a huge challenge!!
