I can't put into words the amount of pain that cancer has caused our family... My mum has bravely battled skin cancer more than once.. My Nanny has battled throat cancer and another Nan breast cancer... I am so lucky to still have all of these amazing women with me, at times I can imagine they felt like giving up but they never did, they continued to fight and are the lucky ones who are still here.. but unfortunately that isn't the case for everyone and millions of people are battling cancer every single day. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Each year, around 1,500 children are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. Thanks to major advances in research, around three-quarters of children with cancer now survive.
