My Story
If you ever question where I get my fighting spirit from then its my Dad, my real life Superhero. He has been in hospital fighting for his life since Jan 3rd. He has spent 6 months in ICU in The Marsden Kensington where his life was touch & go several times. Four weeks ago he turned a corner & last week he was transferred to a rehab centre in Dorking where he is receiving the best rehab care he could. My Dad is a fighter but is ONLY here because of the AMAZING care & support he has received from The Marsden, our amazing NHS. The future is now looking positive for him & his wife & I was blessed to be able to visit him today, Fathers Day & I pray to have him around for many more Fathers Days to come🙏 To do what little I can & show my appreciation, gratitude & respect to The Marsden I have signed up to something I hate doing!!😝 Running😱Boy I cannot run🏃♀️😅 Those of you that know me, train with me, know that this is not my strength! Give me some weights to shift any day!! On July 21st I will be taking part in the Virgin Sport 10k run in London & for the first time ever I am going to be doing for charity. For those of you that think this will be easy for me as I am a coach, please believe me that it won’t! This will be a massive challenge for me to complete in the best possible time I can. If I have ever helped you with your training?, or supported you in any way then I am asking for your support & encouragement in return to help me do the best I can to give back. Much love to you all, look after your loved ones & embrace every moment and opportunity to tell them you love them and show them you care 💗
