Now that I can run I decided that it was finally time to stop talking about doing a Race for Life and actually just do a Race for Life! Last year I lost someone very important to me to cancer and so I want to dedicate this race to Trixie. She would have thought that this was a far better way for me to remember her than sitting around being sad. I know that I am not the only one to lose someone to cancer and that a scary amount of people are diagnosed with cancer each year. Many other people in my life have also had to deal with grief because of cancer and that's why I want to take part in a Race for Life. I have paid for the race entry myself and so all donations go straight to Cancer Research. Any donation no matter how big or small will be greatly appreciated :)
