I hate running. At school my favourite athletics event was the long jump, because the 100m was a bit far.... After a difficult 2016, I wanted to challenge myself and raise some money to reduce the impact cancer has on people. For a lot of people a 10k isn't much of a challenge, but for someone who hates running as much as me, it really is!

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
