My Story
I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life for the fifth time running and this year is extra special as my sister Megan is running it with me! This is such a brilliant cause and means so much. I lost my Mum to cancer when I was eight years old but today I can stand in her place and do something about it. Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner. This year I'll be running the 10k for the forth time, my personal best is 56:19 and i'm hoping to beat this. So dig deep people, every penny is essential and anything you give I will be so grateful!
