My Story

We are 3 sisters that wanted to challenge our abilities and support a cause that we feel passionately about. Doing it together will hopefully make the experience more enjoyable and we know we can support each other through it. Not only will the money raised be extremely worth while but we wanted to do something to help increase our fitness status too. As all 3 of us have successfully completed various Duke of Edinburgh awards, it was about time to complete another challenging new experience but this time together, who doesn't love a bit of sisterly bonding time! Eventhough cancer has taken the lives of 3 people close to us, we know that it can often be beaten with fantastic support, donations for medical research and mental strength. Although there are those who we have lost from this terrible illness, we wanted to run and donate thinking of our Auntie, our Grandad and our Great Nannie who suffered from and beat cancer. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we are taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
