My Story
We’re proud to be fundraising for cancer research, a cause that affects so many lives and is close to our hearts at Bernard Magee Bridge and BMB Holidays. On Saturday 9th May 2026, members of our team will be taking on the challenge of an inflatable 5K run — a fun but physically demanding event packed with obstacles, energy, and plenty of laughs along the way. While it promises to be an exciting day, our motivation goes far beyond the finish line. Every step we take is in support of vital cancer research, helping to fund groundbreaking treatments, improve early detection, and bring hope to those affected by cancer. We’re committed to making a difference and supporting the incredible work being done to save lives. We would be incredibly grateful for any support, whether that’s a donation, sharing our page, or simply cheering us on. Together, we can help drive progress and make a real impact. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
