My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m taking on the Walk 44 Miles Challenge this October to help raise money for the Bowelbabe Fund for Cancer Research UK. I had my own Bowel cancer diagnosis in 2022 & it was ground breaking treatment that saved my life. It’s time for me to do my bit, raising awareness and funds as I take on this challenge. Bowelbabe Fund
Fuelled by the spirit of rebellious hope - of choosing to remain hopeful in the face of overwhelming odds - the Bowelbabe Fund for Cancer Research UK was set up to continue the incredible legacy of Dame Deborah James. We raise money to fund cutting edge research into early detection and personalised medicine, raise awareness of signs and symptoms and tackle the stigmas around cancer with unflinching honesty so we can give more people affected by cancer more time with the people they love.
