I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

Hi everyone, my name is Ben and I’ve decided to run the Race For Life 5K to help raise money and awareness around cancer, specifically Ewing’s Sarcoma which is a cancer that affects the bone, or soft tissue around it.

It’s a rare form of cancer that usually affects children and teens up to the ages of 20, and unfortunately it has affected my longest, and most dear friend, it has been 5 years this year since he was diagnosed and he has battled with strength and bravery, I’ve never been so proud of someone and he has shown me that within us all is something special, a driving force that keeps us going!

Without him I don’t know where I’d be, however I’d like to challenge myself and try to complete the 5K within 30 minutes, I’ve never been much of a runner, however I believe this is a worthy cause!

Thank you for any money that is donated, even if it’s £1, it is greatly appreciated.
